There are few places that have such a rich history of Southern Alberta. Truly the heart of the west, Southern Alberta is complete with scenery, characters, and historic significance. Turner Valley and the neighbouring communities of Black Diamond and Okotoks provide a wide variety of amenities – from boutique shops and artisans to big box retailers, abundant recreation both indoors and outdoors, and excellent dining.

With the city of Calgary nearby, even the most specialized amenities are available.

Recreational opportunities are plentiful. The Friendship Trail, a 3km paved pathway linking Turner Valley with neighbouring communities, is ideal for year-round walking or jogging. Set at the gateway of Alberta’s famed Kananaskis Country, Turner Valley enjoys almost immediate access to world-class outdoor activities, such as hiking, cross-country skiing, birdwatching, camping, and more.
